City of Las Vegas Animal Care Center

We are a municipal animal shelter for the City of Las Vegas. We contract with our county to provide animal services. We are a small shelter and are constantly full and trying to rehome as many friendly, happy, adoptable dogs as we can. We have not had to euthanize for space but our numbers are making it difficult to keep on. Our staff are dedicated and caring.

Meet Spirit

Spirit was named after the horse in the movie Spirit. Much like Spirit in the movie she was living free and roaming the wild with no wish to be captured. Although Spirit is still very timid and scared she is a beautiful girl and with some work she can be a wonderful dog that would make a great companion.

Short Application, interview, meet and greets, and mandatory spay/neuter, vaccinations, and microchipping
