City of Las Vegas Animal Care Center

We are a municipal animal shelter for the City of Las Vegas. We contract with our county to provide animal services. We are a small shelter and are constantly full and trying to rehome as many friendly, happy, adoptable dogs as we can. We have not had to euthanize for space but our numbers are making it difficult to keep on. Our staff are dedicated and caring.

Meet Bunny

Meet Bunny, the hopping bundle of joy! This 1-year-old German shepherd mix weighs in at a playful 54 lbs and is ready to bounce her way into your heart. With her silly antics and goofy personality, she’ll keep you entertained for hours! Bunny loves to run, play, and, of course, show off her best bunny hops. While she’s a total goofball at heart, she’s also looking for a loving home to help her learn some manners—because sometimes it’s time to be silly, and other times it’s time to chill. This beautiful girl has so much energy and personality that it’s hard to see her stuck in a kennel. Let’s help Bunny hop into her forever home where she can thrive and share her joyful spirit!
