Meet Chip Russell

Chip was born sometime in 2015 and weighs about 10 pounds.  A JR volunteer happened to get lost on her way home and stopped at an Amish store to ask for directions.  The store owner gave her directions and was also rather adamant that she take his dog, too! Not able to take the dog at that moment, our volunteer left and called us.  We asked that she go get the dog ASAP and she jumped in her car and rescued Chip from an unknown fate! Chip has been an absolute pleasure to get to know.  Chip has been wonderful with all the other dogs, and having lived with Amish his entire life, he has had plenty of interactions with children and various farm animals.  Chip is nervous in the car (Amish, remember) but does not vomit.  Several quick trips over a few months should help him get over this.  Chip craves his humans attention and would like someone home more often than not.  This is all we know so far, and we will be learning as we go, and so will you!  The Adoption Fee for this dog is $350.00 Adoptions fees vary based on adoptability. In general our fees include spay/neuter, all age appropriate vaccines, Home Again micro-chipping & registration, worming & flea control - a "complete" pet. We accept CASH or Visa/Mastercard ONLY.    Joyful Rescues has no funding except for our adoption fees and miscellaneous donations. Pet care and vet bills are expensive - you must be ready to take on this financial (as well as emotional) responsibility. YOU MUST BE AT LEAST 25 YEARS OF AGE TO ADOPT A DOG FROM JOYFUL RESCUES   We keep our pet list as up-to-date as possible. As soon as a pet is adopted, it is removed from the list.
