Meet Kurtis Delevan

Kurtis was born around August 8, 2022, and weighs about 30 pounds. He came to us when his elderly owners could no longer care for him. Though initially timid, he quickly warmed up and is adjusting wonderfully to his foster home.  Kurtis adores other dogs and loves to play. He's also been around cats and seems to enjoy their company. Kurtis's next home should have another playful, confident dog, and if there are children, they should be older. We were told Kurtis was "a feral poodle," but he just isn't. He does have some shy tendencies, such as cowering when reaching over his head, but overall, he's a pretty well-adjusted, sweet, happy boy.  Oh, he rides wonderfully in the car too!  The Adoption Fee for this dog is $600.00 Adoptions fees vary based on adoptability. In general our fees include spay/neuter, all age appropriate vaccines, Home Again micro-chip & registration, worming & flea control - a "complete" pet. We accept CASH or Visa/Mastercard ONLY.    Joyful Rescues has no funding except for our adoption fees and miscellaneous donations. Pet care and vet bills are expensive - you must be ready to take on this financial (as well as emotional) responsibility. YOU MUST BE AT LEAST 25 YEARS OF AGE TO ADOPT A DOG FROM JOYFUL RESCUES   We keep our pet list as up-to-date as possible. As soon as a pet is adopted, it is removed from the list.
