Buffalo C.A.R.E.S. Animal Rescue

Buffalo CARES was started by 7 people who have worked together for years at various other rescues. We started this rescue because we wanted to make sure our rescue was run the right way. We saw a need for a rescue in the Buffalo, NY area that would help & rescue local dogs. The majority of our animals are local animals.

Meet Freckles

Hi   My name is Freckles! I am a 4 month old Chihuahua mix. I am a happy go lucky girl, full of spunk and very inquisitive. I love to run around the yard and play with toys! I love to follow my nose and explore. Squeaky things are my absolute favorite. I am currently living with my 2 canine siblings, 2 fur foster brothers and 3 kids. I love everyone I meet   I am working on potty training and my foster mom is very impressed with me so far! I sleep in my crate at night and only cry if I have to go potty. Then it's right back to bed for me. Adoption Process
All adoptions require, reference checks, vet reference checks, home visits, meet & greets. From there we will determine if that applicant is right for the dog they are interested in. At the adoption, a contract will be signed and an adoption fee will be paid. Fee's are based on the specific dog. Puppies, adults, bully breeds or special needs.
