Meet Ben & Jerry (BONDED)
We recently received these pictures of not one chihuahua/pug mix, but two. Two boys wandering the streets, seeking food and shelter during the cold nights. When we started asking about them, we learned they've been wandering outside for quite some time now, and the people in their neighborhood have been trying to help them out. Some have been giving them food, and someone even gave one of them a sweater, which was so lovely of them. We’ve learned that they are both very sweet, playful boys. And they and show their appreciation through affection to those who have been trying to help them out. Everyone says they’re very well-behaved. We decided to name them Ben and Jerry. A foster agreed to bring them inside for us. According to her, the crying was heartbreaking to hear when they attempted to separate them. They are BONDED to each other, and we have promised that we will not separate them. Personality: affectionate, playful, well-behaved Good with: people of all ages (including kids), and dogs. Have not been cat tested yet. Training: unknown at this time Estimated date of birth: both boys are estimated to be between 1-2 years old; we will update after they have been seen by a vet Medical: will be vetted and brought up to date on vaccinations Location: Ben and Jerry are currently located with a foster in Texas, but if adopted, will come to the NJ area on our next transport. Please note that these boys must be ADOPTED TOGETHER as they are bonded.
