Meet Lucy

Lovely Lucy is available for adoption!  This cutie is a Schnauzer/yorkie mix recently rescued from a life of breeding.  Lucy is about 7 years old and weighs 18 pounds - she's a chunker!   Meet Lucy! She's a happy and cheerful little dog who is adjusting well to her new life as a pet. Lucy just loves receiving attention from her foster mom and is super friendly with other dogs. However, she still needs to get used to being picked up to go outside and sometimes pees a little when you reach for her. No worries though, just talk to her and let her know that you are going to pick her up, and she'll feel more secure. Lucy is comfortable in her crate, but she hasn't had much experience on a leash yet. She has a fenced yard in her foster home where she goes potty, but you have to take her out because she doesn't ask to go out. If you stay outside with her, she'll stay out as long as you do! Lucy struggles a bit with going downstairs, so you need to be careful when taking her down. Her foster family is super proud of the progress she's made in just a couple of months. And just a heads up, Lucy will need regular grooming to keep her looking her best! Lucy is now spayed, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated and tested neg. for heartworm.  Her adoption fee is $400
