VT Dog Rescue

VT Dog Rescue is a non-profit canine rescue focused on saving the Underdog. The sweet dogs who are passed over day after day simply because they are not perfect. Who is an underdog?- older dogs who are wise and love to snuggle- tri-pawed dogs who are happily enjoying life with 3 legs- shy dogs who need a little extra love to help them build confidence - dogs who may limp or have a physical limitation that humans see as a flaw, but they accept with dignity - dogs who are missing an eye and have adapted to navigate their world The Underdogs have, against all odds, retained their ability to be loyal and trusting companions who love us unconditionally. We believe the Underdogs, just like other shelter dogs, deserve to be rescued and placed in loving, responsible homes where they can shine.

Meet Lolli

Meet Lolli, the Energetic and Loving Terrier! This playful 6-month-old spayed girl is searching for an active, experienced family to call her own. Lolli is full of life and loves to run, jump, and explore. She's an intelligent pup who is eager to learn and bond with her new humans. Ideal Home Requirements: No cats or small animals: Lolli has a strong prey drive and would be best suited in a home without them. Fenced yard: A secure outdoor space is essential for her to burn off energy. Another playful dog or doggy daycare: Lolli would thrive in a home with a canine companion or enjoy attending daycare. Very active family: She needs lots of exercise and would do best with owners who enjoy walking, running, or hiking. Children in home are 10+: Lolli is still learning manners and may be a bit mouthy or jumpy, making her a better fit for older children. About Lolli: Endless energy: Lolli is a high-energy dog who loves to play and explore. Some training done: She's already crate-trained and eager to learn new commands. If you're an active family looking for a loyal and energetic companion, Lolli might be the perfect fit for you! Loving and affectionate: Despite her playful energy, Lolli is a sweet and loving companion. We do not provide DNA testing which is the only way to know with certainty which breeds are in her genetic background. We highly recommend training classes for all of our dogs to get everyone off to a great start. Training recommendations are available. Our adoption fee is $400 which includes age-appropriate vaccines (such as Distemper, Bordetella, Parvo, and Rabies), neutering, worming, microchipping, and health exam. Discount vouchers for training, grooming, and similar dog-related products and services are provided. Thank you for your interest in Lolli—she is a special girl!
