Meet Dixie

Dixie is an extroverted, enthusiastic 2 year old, 40lb, social butterfly who absolutely loves life. She greets everyone she meets like they are long lost friends. She likes being close to her foster family, rolls over for belly rubs, and sometimes snuggles on laps. Dixie is extremely playful with both people and other dogs. She hasn't found a toy she doesn't like, and often carries them around in her mouth showing everyone. The highlights of her day are going on leash walks, running in the yard full speed, wrestling with the other dogs in her foster home, and interacting with her foster family. Dixie is looking for a family who will continue to prioritize her fitness goals (shes working on loosing a few pounds ). She also would benefit from training to polish her manners. Sitting for pets can be a challenge because she is just SO HAPPY and full of love, but she's learning. Dixie is good with children, dogs (but would be fine as an only dog), and cats. She is crate trained, housebroken, spayed, and UTD on all vaccines. To apply, https://www.graspinc.org/dog-application Fostered in the Rochester NY area
