Meet Somora

Location: Adamstown, MD. Somora  is a  1-year-old ,  30   lb  female ACD. She is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations and preventatives.   Ever  d reamed of having a cattle dog but put off by their  snarky attitude and zany   energy ?!?  Somora   may be  the dog  for you! S he is  a  sweet,  happy , smart girl who  is  medium energy  but  settles down  without the typical ACD craziness .  Somora  was dumped in the shelter with her eight puppies. She quickly adjusted to life on a farm with 5 other ACDs, male and female of all ages. She  gets along well with all the dogs and ignores the cats.  Somora  loves to run around the farm and play with her foster sibling of about the same age.  She  is very cuddly and affectionate but also enjoys her quiet ,  independent time.  Somora is  super fast , quick and food motivated. This combo together with her  intelligence  and eagerness to learn would make her an ideal agility  (other sport)  dog.  Somora  enjoys her daily long walks and would also make a great running, hiking, or biking partner.   Somora   hasn’t  been  around children in her foster home but  is probably  gentle enough for even small children.  She  is  a bit  submissive  with other dogs and may be overwhelmed by  a bigger dog who plays too rough.   Somora  is being fostered in Adamstown, MD (contact:  [email protected]).   Complete an Application: https://www.acdra.org/adoption-application
