Buffalo CARES was started by 7 people who have worked together for years at various other rescues. We started this rescue because we wanted to make sure our rescue was run the right way. We saw a need for a rescue in the Buffalo, NY area that would help & rescue local dogs. The majority of our animals are local animals.

Meet Daisy, a sweety pit American Staffy mix with a beautiful brindle coat! Daisy is the perfect companion for anyone looking for a fun-loving and affectionate dog. She’s always excited to meet new people and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. Playtime is her favorite, and she’ll keep you entertained with her joyful energy, but don’t let that fool you—when the day winds down, she’s all about curling up in bed for a cozy rest. Daisy has also met cats and while she's very curious, she’s still learning how to interact with them. Adoption Process
All adoptions require, reference checks, vet reference checks, home visits, meet & greets. From there we will determine if that applicant is right for the dog they are interested in. At the adoption, a contract will be signed and an adoption fee will be paid. Fee's are based on the specific dog. Puppies, adults, bully breeds or special needs.
