Meet Finnegan

Location: Easthampton, MA. Meet Finnegan: Your Future Adventure Buddy and Snuggle Bug! Hi there! I’m Finnegan, a spirited 9-month-old blue heeler mix, and I’m on the lookout for my forever home! I can’t wait to meet someone special who can keep up with my energetic spirit and adventurous heart. My foster family describes me as a petite, handsome guy who loves making friends wherever I go, and I’m all about sports and agility! Fetch is my absolute favorite game, and I thrive on sprinting through the woods, exploring every exciting nook and cranny. Indoors, I keep things lively with my toys, always ready to engage my humans in a fun play session. After a day filled with adventures, there’s nothing better than curling up on a lap for some cozy snuggles and chest rubs! I adore playing with everyone I meet and their furry companions, and I’m learning to be mindful of personal space, especially with little ones. I haven’t had the chance to meet any cats yet, but I’m curious and excited about new experiences! Those speedy wheels with humans on them do catch my attention, and I can’t help but wonder what that’s all about! Originally from South Boston, my nickname is “Bean” because I’m always bouncing around—my jumping record is an impressive five feet! I’m full of enthusiasm when meeting new people, and I’m dedicated to keeping my paws on the ground. I’m a quick learner, and I’m eager to impress my humans with my growing skills! I would do best with a family who loves having me around because I do have some abandonment issues I am working through, but I also find great comfort in having another furry friend to keep me company.  I’m looking for a loving, active family that enjoys outdoor adventures as much as I do. I’d love a running or hiking buddy, and maybe even to explore some dog sports together! If you’re searching for a fun and affectionate companion, I’m your guy! Email my foster family to come meet me—I can’t wait to see you! Even if you’re not ready to adopt, I’d love to make new friends. Let’s play! Please contact [email protected].
