Meet Mackenzie

Location: Ohio Miss Mackenzie is estimated to be around 5-years-old, an Australian Cattle Dog with a heart full of love and a soul as old as time. Spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines, this gentle girl is ready to find her perfect forever home. She’s as sweet as they come, with a calm, affectionate nature that makes her the perfect companion. Unlike some of her high-energy herding dog cousins, Mackenzie is a mellow girl who just wants to be with her person. Whether it’s lounging on the porch, enjoying the sunshine, or going for a peaceful stroll, she’s happiest simply being by your side. She adores the great outdoors and would love a home where she can spend time soaking it all in. Mackenzie is incredibly loving but has just the right amount of sass when it comes to sharing her space and belongings with other dogs. She’d do best in a moderately relaxed home where she can be the center of attention or with a canine companion who respects her boundaries. If you’re looking for a sweet, easygoing, and devoted best friend, Mackenzie is waiting to meet you. Could you be her forever person? Mackenzie is being fostered in Sunbury, Ohio. If you have questions about this one-of-a-kind gal, you can contact her foster mom via e-mail at [email protected]. If you are interested in adopting Rose, please submit an application here: www.acdra.org/adoption-application
