Meet Frosty

“Hi, my name is Frosty. I have been in my foster home for a few weeks now, and I'm ready for my forever home. I like to play with my foster siblings and cats, which I pretty much like to look at, but otherwise, I really don't pay them any attention. I like to run around during playtime, but most of all, I love attention and being close to my people.” Hello, I am Frosty’s foster Mom. Frosty is a 5 year-old 60lb ball of fluff and love who came to me after being in a kill shelter and come on I know you will agree he is so cute! Who could resist that face? Frosty gets along well with my pack and seems to always respect boundaries with my one male and three female dogs. Frosty is what you could say is a velcro dog and insists on getting pet. For a few special moments each evening, Frosty will grace us with some one-on-one playtime but for the most part he’s a physical affection kind of guy. Frosty walks well on leash, travels well in the car, is mastering his recall when out playing in the yard and other than a few accidents early on he’s completely house trained! He hasn’t been destructive in the house and while he has some experience spending time in his crate, he much prefers to sleep next to me. It took some time but once he learned the routine, Frosty made himself right at home. He absolutely loves food, so much so that every so often he needs a little reminder on how to take his treats gently. Frosty is a quirky guy who is silly, serious, loving, and so playful. He has been around my older children and two toddler grandchildren and has done well meeting new people. Frosty can be vocal and will occasionally grumble or talk, it's kind of like he's speaking his own language! Frosty’s ideal adopter would be a family or even a single person who would travel to meet him and spend time getting to know this sweet boy. He is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, current on preventatives, and heartworm negative. Frosty is located in East Tennessee in Maryville. For more information please email his foster mom at [email protected] or text her at 865-659-9894.
