Meet BLUE WILLOW 25 LBS.

My name is Blue Willow and as you can see, I am a pretty little Blue Heeler that is only 25 pounds and 10 months old.  I was adopted as a cute little puppy by a family who decided they had no time for me when I got a little older.  I am a tiny little girl that is no bigger than a Beagle honestly.  My foster mom said that I am the sweetest thing and she calls me a smart Velcro girl that still has some independence to be stubborn like a typical Heeler can be.  I am learning everything I need to know about how to be a great dog.  I am fine in a car but learning more about how to behave and be easy on a leash.  I am nervous when I am first in a new environment and meeting new people or dogs.  I have not been out and about in the world until just after Christmas when Critter Cavalry Rescue saved me from my indifferent family.  I am crate trained unfortunately because they kept in a crate all the time.  I need a job because my mind and my body need challenges and things to do.  I am not a Basset Hound, lazy kind of breed.  I am a smart and adventurous, active breed that is very devoted to their human family. I am friendly but a tad cautious when in new situations but I warm quickly.  I am not a nippy Heeler like some can be and I am wonderful with the 3 year old toddler in my foster home and they have exposed me to lots of other dogs, big and small.  I love the silly and wild kitten that is living with me and I might be a little too curious about the chickens but could learn to leave them alone.  So…. run…don’t walk to the computer and ask [email protected] for an application to adopt me.  I will make your life a more beautiful and fun one each and every day! PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.

Adoption Process
All potential adoptors must complete the application request form on any dog. Before placing a dog with an adoptor Critter Companion conducts a vet check to ensure proper health, gets the dog up to date on all shots and neuters the dog.
