Meet CHARLIE CRUISE

This beautiful pure bred Cocker Spaniel puppy is called Charlie Cruise and he is 5 months old and weighs 22 pounds.  This boy met with a sad fate of losing his home because his owners had a life change in the family and had to give him up while they moved out of state and could not take any pets. This boy with the gorgeous green/yellow eyes and the delicious freckles that are sprinkled all across his face, is full of fun energy and puppy playfulness.   He is wonderful with other dogs and cats and has lived with young children.  We will require a fenced yard and no long days crated while family is out of the home working.  Something reasonable is fine but no long 9 hours days Monday – Friday please.  The Cocker Spaniel breed has its own special and wonderful traits that you must be aware of.  They are very adaptable as a breed of dog and Charlie has proven that he is certainly able to go with the flow.  This breed of dog is easy to train and great with children.  He has already proven that also.  This boy will need regular grooming so as to not develop matted fur.  Weekly brushing will help avoid fur issues like this.  This breed can exist in apartment settings as long as they are not barkers.   Charlie doesn’t seem to be a barker more than normal for a dog.  Cocker Spaniels are very sensitive and emotionally tender dogs.  Sometimes they can develop separation anxiety if there are too many changes in their lifestyle and Charlie has had a bit of that lately.  We see nothing of this but we do want to caution anyone adopting to watch carefully for an attachment issue if you leave him too often and for long periods of time.  Ears are key in making sure they are clean and not getting little infections.  Just watch carefully for that.  His cuteness quota is off the charts obviously and he is going to be a handsome and loving addition to the right family.  We are searching for that right now!  If you feel like you would like to submit an application to adopt please contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at [email protected]   This boy is in Nashville, TN and we transport northward every weekend.  We have 6 major transport stops on our journey northward to the northeast.  PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or [email protected]

Adoption Process
All potential adoptors must complete the application request form on any dog. Before placing a dog with an adoptor Critter Companion conducts a vet check to ensure proper health, gets the dog up to date on all shots and neuters the dog.
