Meet PUPPY ODIN
Say hello to our sensitive and ridiculously handsome puppy called Odin. This dashingly handsome white Shepherd mix male pup was born somewhere around the first of November to a poor momma dog who was chained up to a tree with a small dog house for shelter. All 7 puppies and their momma had to huddle in that one dog house on the bad weather, wind, rain and cold days. Critter Cavalry Rescue got the call to help them all and off we went, coming home with 10 puppies. They would not allow us to take the moms but we are spaying them now so they will never had another litter of pups again. When he first came to his foster home he was scared and did not trust people - he didn't even know how to play! But he very quickly discovered that people and toys are fun and now he loves them all! Odin has blossomed into a wonderful, friendly boy with a calm nature. He would be a great dog to calm you down when you are stressed as he loves to just lie next to you with his head in your lap while you scratch his ears or rub his belly (he's very partial to belly rubs). Odin is going to be a big boy - up to 70-80 pounds of pure love - so he will need room to spread out and exercise. As of 1/24 he weighs almost 20 pounds! He will be a great companion on hikes or other outdoor adventures. He does fine with other dogs, we're not sure about cats since he has never been around one but he is a gentle and sweet spirit of a boy and could do just fine at this young age. Odin is starting to understand the concept of potty training but has a ways to go. He's smart, so fine tuning his training should be no problem. This is just one all-around great puppy who is going to make a wonderful companion and would be a great child’s best friend forever too.
