Meet Cagney - Courageous Girl!

Cagney is a special girl who is currently with our partner rescue in Louisiana but hoping to come to NJ soon. We do offer a foster-to-adopt trial to approved adopters. Cagney was found dragging a line with a heavy collar around her neck. What's worse is the collar had weights and padlocks on it. Cagney had wounds along her legs from the line she dragging or something similar that lacerated her legs and body. She had ear infections in both ears so bad that when she shook her head, blood flew everywhere. Poor girl was in rough shape! She was shut down, overwhelmed and scared beyond belief but she bravely escaped the hell she was living in.   Cagney was then saved by our partner rescue, Atchafalaya River Rescue. She is in foster and doing well but she needs a lot of time  and patience and TLC. Cagney needs a fenced yard since she does not yet walk well on a leash. Cagney is dog friendly. She will be cat tested soon. Her foster is working on housebreaking, crate training and her leash skills. Cagney is fixed,   microchipped and up to date on rabies, DHPP and Bordetella vaccines. She tested negative for heartworm. Her adoption fee will be $450. How to Adopt Me!
