Meet Arlo

Arlo & Alice Pembroke, MA Just in time for Thanksgiving, Arlo and Alice are ready to walk right in to your lives and make themselves right at home! These two nuggets are looking for separate homes who are prepared for everything an ACD embodies. They are allll cattle dog, from their attitude and tenacity to their smart little problem-solving brains. Their adopters will need to continue their training and be sure to provide plenty of mental and physical exercise to keep them happy and healthy. You don't want them to end up on the Group W bench after committing special crimes (creating a nuisance would be a high probability). Heeler-savvy homes are preferred, especially those who are interested in training or dog sports! Both Arlo and Alice have been bold little babies: happy to explore their environment and comfortable saying hello to (and subsequently climb all over) new people. They like to explore with their mouths and have mighty little grips, so older children only would be best. They've done well with other dogs here and enjoy playing with evenly matched dogs, but are still a bit small to keep up with larger adults. No exposure to cats yet, but with proper integration they should be fine. The pups have an estimated birthday around the mid-to-end of September, and are currently around 8lbs. They're working on housetraining, crating, and foundational skills; as puppies the bulk of this work will fall on their adoptive families. Both pups are microchipped and up to date on monthly preventatives. They have age-appropriate vaccinations, and are being adopted out on spay/neuter contracts to allow their puppy bodies and minds more time to develop. The puppies are available to separate homes, and must meet their potential families prior to adoption in order to help ensure a great match.
