Meet Spot, a wonderful little adult dog with a heart full of love. His demeanor is sweet and gentle, a testament to his loving spirit. Spot's a bit shy, but that's part of his charm. He appreciates the simple things in life, like a warm lap, a soft voice, and the gentle touch of a kind hand. Spot needs some work on his house training, is not crate trained, and walks calmly on the leash. He is friendly with others dogs his size. We don’t yet know how he is with cats or kids. He has small bones, so everyone in the household needs to be able to careful with him to prevent any accidental injuries. Spot would thrive in a quiet, low foot traffic home where he can feel safe and loved. His calm and gentle nature makes him the perfect companion for those seeking a peaceful, loving pet. Adopting Spot means opening your home to a loyal friend who will offer unconditional love in return. Choose Spot, choose love. Spot’s story: He was seen being abandoned in a Rhode Island park and was rescued by an SOS adopter who is now fostering until he is adopted. An adoption donation is required for each adoption; please see   HERE   for more information about this. To apply for this dog, fill out an adoption application on our website:   Adoption Application - SOS Animal Rescue League in Rhode Island (sosarl.org)   **Additional info you should know - For most of our dogs, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our dogs as an individual and do our best to describe and place them based on personality not breed label. Some dogs may not yet be in New England, nor ready for immediate adoption. There may be additional vetting, quarantine, waiting periods and/or fees depending upon your state of residence. If you have questions or concerns on any of this, you can discuss this with your Adoption Counselor.
