Meet PUPPY RYDER
Meet our handsome and inquisitive and mud puddle boy named Ryder! This handsome reddish brown Siberian Husky mix boy kind of stopped his first photo shoot because as the rain started in his backyard, he decided to frolic in a few mud puddles and ruin his fluffy good looks. What a rascal this puppy truly is. He looks like a miniature Husky with beautiful markings and eye color that matches his coat. He was born to Husky/Great Pyr mix parents we were told and he was one of 9 that survived their entire first 6 weeks of life in the woods. Soon the litter started appearing on the country road just investigating life outside the woods and rescue people stepped up to get them safe with a rescue group. So here they are with Critter Cavalry Rescue! Ryder is a darling size at 11.5 pounds as of 8/28 and about 11 weeks of age. He is on his way to be maybe 40 pounds as an adult. He is confident most of the time, but he will think about approaching a new person that is a stranger to him. The thought to be hesitant quickly passes and then he wants this new stranger to be his friend and pet him. He chases his brothers in the yard, stealing things back and forth, then to his foster mom he will run to happily jump in her lap and just look at his brothers as if to say, “you can't get me”. He has Siberian Husky traits in that he loves to run the fence and yard. He is quiet, but I am sure as he grows that typical husky talking will come out. We know he will have much to say in his life ahead. Ryder is smart and sweet and a beautiful gem for whoever adopts him. Our little treasure of a puppy is currently working on crate training and housebreaking. He is really too young to be a pro at “no inside accidents”, we must ask for your patience and no hard core expectations too quickly. This is all that we ask as you work with any young puppy. Ryder is a star with other dogs, kids and cats and he will steal your heart because his foster mom has already lost hers to these boys. Contact us at [email protected] and tell us where you live (city and state) when contacting us to receive an application. PLEASE NOTE: Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.
