Meet CIERSI
This beautiful girl is Ciersi. A survivor who was a shelter favorite at the Middle TN shelter where many dogs would have been euthanized after being there for 2-3 months, this girl has languished for 8 months, missing the bullet of being put to sleep, simply because she is so very special. At the age of approximately six years old, this 85 pound girl has a serenity and kindness about her that just draws you in. The minute that Critter Cavalry Rescue heard she was in this shelter for 8 months, we knew we had to do something to end this horrible situation. Praise God a foster stepped forward and she is out now, ready for a wonderful reset for her life. This girl has started a journey in a foster home with a caring family that will help her detox from shelter life and start a new chapter. From what we could tell on her intake pictures from August of 2024, 8 months ago, she had a litter of puppies prior to being found as a stray. Mama dogs can be some of the sweetest and most appreciative, nurturing creatures on the planet. This girl has nothing but gratitude written all over her face. She is an easygoing girl with a calm spirit that will be adaptable for many different families and lifestyles. She is housebroken and great with children and other dogs. What is so super special about her is that she tolerates a Pit mix girl that acts likes a puppy with no real manners. She accepts her running up to her face and jumping at her to force some play. We are working on that dog but Ciersi is so tolerant and doesn't get mad at the other unmannerly dog. Now that is very special to be non-reactive when so many would be. We can also cat test her if needed. It's Ciersi's time to bask in the new beginning of Spring and the CCR promise of a great new life ahead. If you are interested in knowing more about our sweet freedom bound Ciersi, please write to us at [email protected]. PLEASE NOTE: Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted. Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.
