Meet Fidget

Location: Riverside, RI   Fidget is an 11 week old male red heeler mix. Currently weighing in at 14lbs. He has half mask on his left eye. He loves to do food puzzles and play with toys. But like any typical heeler he always has one eye on you. He is a real sweet baby. He will be a smartie growing up and should have an owner willing to teach him all kinds of things. He would rather be in your lap, or on your leg, or glued to your side while you do stuff rather than play with his toys. Crate training will be essential or prepare to have him sleeping with you. We have already started crate training, but his littermate and him still sleep together so it needs to be reinforced once they are separated. The ideal homes for this baby will be ready and willing to do all the positive reinforcement training. Potty training, leash training and obedience training.  If you love dogs and building a relationship through training, this pup may be for you! We know she is adorable, but all puppies are cute! You'll need to have a lifestyle in place to accommodate an energetic, intelligent, playful puppy! Fidget has been exposed to cats and other dogs. He is curious and shy, so he does hesitate to approach the other animals in your house. His new home will need to make sure the rest of the current fur babies living there are approachable and friendly. Puppy socialization classes are going to be a great way to expand his outgoing dog friendly personality. Please consider all the training a puppy requires before applying for adoption. The pup will to be to date on age-appropriate medical care, including microchip, and will be placed with a spay/neuter contract. Adoption Process
ADOPTION FEES All puppies and adult dogs are up-to-date on vaccinations and monthly preventatives. All adult dogs are spayed / neutered. Puppies under 1 year: $350 Puppies too young to be spayed/neutered are adopted with a Spay/Neuter Contract which includes a $50 deposit which is refunded when you submit proof of spay/neuter. Age 1 - 6: $300 Age 7 - 9: $250 Age 10+: $100 Age 7+ adopted by a person 60+: FREE (Any donation is appreciated) Need our help transporting over 3 hours from foster home to adopter: $50 - $150 depending on distance (in addition to adoption fee). NOTE! All dogs are adopted with a 2-week trial period. If you decide the dog is not a fit for your household and the dog is returned to the rescue within 2 weeks of adoption, the adoption fee will be refunded.
