Meet Ace
The best card in the deck is an Ace and Ace the big-hearted pup is raring to be the best in your family and neighborhood when you give him his forever home and family. Ace is a Texas boy, a Black Labrador/mixed breed energetic pup who loves romping in the yard with canine companions. He is ten months old and at 41 pounds still growing, so it is estimated he will be a medium sized adult (31-60 pounds). Children and other dogs are welcomed to be his friends and playmates. It is not known whether Ace enjoys the company of cats.Ace knows that being a well-behaved housemate and companion requires learning his manners, so he is working on his house, leash, and crate training. Labradors tend to be treat motivated and people pleasers so consistent positive reinforcement with yummies and praise will help Ace become a very good boy. Rescue dogs can have accidents as they become accustomed to a new home, new family, and new routines. If crate training is planned, Ace needs a large crate so he can turn around and lie down comfortably. Crates must not be used for punishment. Assemble the gang, head out for walks, hikes, or just ramble around the neighborhood and watch Ace become the toast of the town!* Please keep in mind when considering adoption, dogs thrive on structure and routine. They adjust significantly better when their owners are committed to providing consistency and stability. The adoption fee for Ace is $500. That includes the cost of spaying/neutering, up to date vaccinations, foster care, rescue and transportation fees.
