Meet Johnny
SMALL DOG IN VERMONT Meet Johnny! Johnny is 4 years old, male (approx. DOB 1-18-21), 16 lbs., vetted, is or will be neutered, and micro-chipped. Johnny and his housemate June (adopted) were found in an abandoned trailer in Vermont with no heat, food, or water in deplorable living conditions. Johnny is social, is not afraid of people, would be fine with or without other dogs, seems to be housebroken, is good with other dogs, good with kids, and maybe cats. He wants to chase squirrels, but what dog doesn't? Johnny needs a separate place to eat with his slow feeder bowl if other pets are in the house. He is crate trained during the day, but he would be fine in a gated off area. Johnny does like to table surf if you leave a chair pulled up lol! He loves car rides, going for walks, which, when it's not freezing out, knows to come when you call his name, knows the word bedtime, and knows Sit. He likes sleeping in the bed he doesn't like being left in a kennel at night. Johnny isn't destructive and is learning how to play with toys. He will sometimes play with his foster sibling and is building up his confidence when it comes to playing. He will not go downstairs until a light is turned on. Stay tuned for more information as Johnny is a new rescue!
