Meet Basil Haydens

Location: Chesapeake, VA If interested, please contact the foster home. Petfinder Profiles doesn’t always work. Meet Basil Haydens, one of the darn sweetest heeler puppies you'll ever meet! He seems to have a balanced temperament, slightly independent but quick to come when called and loves affection from his person! Better yet, he enjoys attention and affection from every person he's met so far without being obnoxious or too nippy, including young children. He's been living with a large pack of dogs with different personalities so his social skills are already getting a kick start! He is quickly picking up on potty training and successfully uses the pee pads in the puppy pen when he needs to. He's proven to be very smart, food motivated, and eager to learn new things! He's also happy to cuddle at the end of the day and watch a movie when he's all tuckered out. He has the typical puppy tendencies, so watch your slippers if you don't want them to disappear! Basil has had all the age appropriate vetting up until this point, but he will need further vaccines as well as being neutered when he's older. He's currently being fostered in Chesapeake VA. Adoption Process
ADOPTION FEES All puppies and adult dogs are up-to-date on vaccinations and monthly preventatives. All adult dogs are spayed / neutered. Puppies under 1 year: $350 Puppies too young to be spayed/neutered are adopted with a Spay/Neuter Contract which includes a $50 deposit which is refunded when you submit proof of spay/neuter. Age 1 - 6: $300 Age 7 - 9: $250 Age 10+: $100 Age 7+ adopted by a person 60+: FREE (Any donation is appreciated) Need our help transporting over 3 hours from foster home to adopter: $50 - $150 depending on distance (in addition to adoption fee). NOTE! All dogs are adopted with a 2-week trial period. If you decide the dog is not a fit for your household and the dog is returned to the rescue within 2 weeks of adoption, the adoption fee will be refunded.
