Spirit is a 2-year-old cattle dog mix who has recently proven to be an incredible mama to her seven adorable puppies, born on New Years Day 2025. Just weeks prior, this sweet girl was found as a pregnant stray in North Carolina, searching for a safe place to bring her babies into the world. Since being rescued, she’s shown nothing but love and devotion to her pups, caring for them and keeping them safe as they grew.Now that her puppies are ready to start their own journeys, it’s Spirit’s turn to find her forever home and a family to call her own!Spirit is a wonderfully friendly girl who loves everyone she meets—whether it’s adults, kids, or other dogs, she’s all about making friends.She has a gentle and affectionate nature that makes her a joy to be around. Shes also got quite the playful side, loves to romp around the yard, play with toys and chew on dog bones. At about 40 lbs, Spirit is a perfect size for an active family looking for a loyal and loving companion.
