Meet ROCKY SPECIAL NEEDS
Meet Mr. Rocky. He is a an 8 year old Schnauzer who weighs 36lbs. Rocky is an amazing dog who is looking for a new family due to no fault of his own. His previous mom loved him very much but her health declined and she was no longer able to care for him. He started on a diet to shed some pounds. His foster mom was concerned about his weight and decided a trip to the vet was in order. A few tests later poor Rocky was diagnosed with Cushings Disease. Unfortunately it is prevalent in Schnauzers. The good thing is that it was caught early and Rocky has no symptoms. He is responding well to the medicine and should be able to live a normal live. Rocky is good with respectful children, dogs and cats. He is house trained and will go to the door when he needs to go out. Rocky loves to explore the fenced in back yard, hang with his humans and occasionally play with his toys. He is calm and not much of a barker. He enjoys casual walks around the block but nothing too strenuous. He is crate trained and even loves to hang out in there on his cushy dog bed with the door open. Rocky is a pretty calm, chill dog. He just doesn’t like to have his toys taken from him when he is playing. Who can blame him?? He will make someone the best companion ever. Will that be you?? Rocky is neutered, HW-, microchipped and up to date on vaccines. To be considered for Rocky's forever family and to request an application please contact Vivienne at [email protected]. APPROVED APPLICATION AND ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. (Rocky is currently in Tennessee but can be transported north upon adoption.)
Adoption Process
All potential adoptors must complete the application request form on any dog. Before placing a dog with an adoptor Critter Companion conducts a vet check to ensure proper health, gets the dog up to date on all shots and neuters the dog.
