Meet CHARLESE TRACE
Charlese Trace is a strikingly pretty and very sweet beauty that has a docile way about her that kind of makes you feel at peace just being around her. When you look in her eyes you see a depth of emotion and some sadness because she knows exactly what happened to her. What did happen in her life is one of those post COVID scenes, where people just up and move out of a place they rent and their dogs and cats are left behind. Our rescue world is seeing this crisis mushroom into an epidemic that is costing many dogs and cats their life literally. Euthanizing is at an all time high. Charlese Trace was pure and simply abandoned. The kind landlord/owner of the home where she was left, is caring for her temporarily, but has a problem with her not being friendly to her cats. She has been wonderful in the home and just as pleasant and well behaved as they come, but the cat aggression has created a serious and urgent need to move this girl to a new foster or new forever home. In all fairness, if she were a little Yorkie or Shih Tzu she would have no trouble finding an immediate home. But since she is a 60 pound Pit mix girl who is 2.5 years old, she is having a tough time being placed quickly. Even the shelters are refusing to take so many of the homeless dogs and cats in. She is a wonderfully trained dog that is great with other dogs, children and housebroken. She is being crated way too much in the current foster home because of the cats that lived there first. The kind lady who took her in is exhausting all creative resources to try and bring Charlese to the attention of a good new home. Someone that can appreciate her beauty inside and out. This is a GOOD DOG! Please consider her and the love that she can give to you! Email us at [email protected] if you are interested. PLEASE NOTE: Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.
