Meet PUPPY TAO

  Critter Cavalry Rescue is so happy to offer this wonderful 7 month old 36 pounds Aussie boy that is looking for an active home and active people to love and have fun with .   This boy was bought as a puppy from a farmer who was breeding puppies.  At just 4 weeks he and his sister were taken home by a young lady who was so excited about having two puppies.  As they grew, the landlord became concerned and decided that he would not allow to have dogs and changed his mind on allowing them.  This boy is so handsome and happy and active.  He is housebroken and lets you know when he needs to go outside to potty.  He is in a fenced yard now and loves to run and play and dig occasionally.  Tao is totally good with other dogs and probably could be a cat’s best friend as well if you introduce properly.   The herding breed of Australian Shepherd is known for their intense intelligence, their razor sharp assessment of the environment around them and their desire to be active and challenged both physically and mentally.  They are like an athlete if you want a comparison.  Not able to really lie around all day and do nothing….but accomplish something every day in their physical and mental world.  Boredom is not good for these dogs. They do have an “off” button when tired and pleasantly exhausted from the exercises of the day.  They are loving, happy, and they are charming.  Socializing a breed like this to be accepting of new encounters with dogs and cats and people is very much a necessity.  Their guarding nature when isolated will be too strong if you do not get them out and about on a regular basis.  You must be the boss of this beautiful and special breed.  Couch potatoes they are not except when tired. Toa will be a stimulating and amazing dog for the right and prepared owner.   You can be proud if you work on training with this boy because he will learn and will enrich your life with accomplishments when you realize that you brought a dog to this special place of obedience and character. Adoption Process
All potential adoptors must complete the application request form on any dog. Before placing a dog with an adoptor Critter Companion conducts a vet check to ensure proper health, gets the dog up to date on all shots and neuters the dog.
