Meet Jeffery
DOB: 1/22/23 WHAT A DIFFERENCE a few weeks made for Jeffrey! You'd never guess that this sweet, lovable little cuddle bug came into his foster dad's home like a little demon. Today he's the perfect child! Jeffrey is a people person! He wants to do whatever you're doing. If you're watching tv, he wants to be curled up beside you. If you're working on a video call, he'll hang on your every word while laying at your feet in his bed like the good boy that he is. Jeffrey LOVES to go for a walk! He wants to go for a walk every day and can be very single-minded about it. Every time you get up, he'll run to the door hoping to go for a walk. And if you don't take the hint, he'll actually go get his leash and bring it to you! Is he good on a leash? Not really. But he's whip-smart, will work for treats, and he's eager to do ANYTHING with his humans, so we know he can learn! He thinks going to training classes with his humans would be the most fun ever! Jeffrey gets along great with his foster siblings! His little poodle sister didn't like his attitude and put him right in his place with just one look. (He takes queues very well!) And he and his foster brother can't get enough running, tumbling and rough-housing in the yard. When it's time for bed, he goes to get both of his favorite toys and takes them right into his crate for the night. Even though he is becoming the most perfect child, he's retaining just the RIGHT AMOUNT of demon. This morning when his foster dad was putting on his pants, Jeffrey grabbed one leg and turned it into a hilarious game of tug-of-war! The more skill-building you do with this little boy, the more he bonds with you. If you give him the attention he deserves, he will be that once-in-a-lifetime soulmate you've dreamed about! Jeffrey is 15lbs, fully vetted, probably Chihuahua mix, house trained, crate trained, dog friendly and loves people. We think he'd be ideal with a family with mature kids that all want to spend time doing activities with him. His adoption fee is $350.
