Meet THELMA LOU

Thelma Lou is a pretty little Chihuahua girl that came from a full house that was overrun with Chihuahuas and adults who were in deep denial and had mental health issues.   This 12 year old, 11 pound girl is very resilient and independent and quiet.  You don’t even know she is around as she Silently glides through the house and places herself on a couch pillow or a place on the bed.  She is not one that needs a crate but only a soft pillow or blanket or small round dog bed to place her little frame that loves to curl up and sleep a while.   She is not a needy girl and due to being part of over 40 Chis in a house she does not demand that you snuggle with her.  We feel that given some time in one place that is called “home” that she will be more accepting of your affection and will seek it.  This little mouse of a girl is so wise in her senior years.  She has had bloodwork done, some benign mammary tumors taken off, a dental done and a spay and heartworm and all shots done with wormings as well. From the ground up she needed a lot of help to get to a healthy and happier place in her life.   She has many years to open her heart to let a forever person in.  Is that you!????? Adoption Process
All potential adoptors must complete the application request form on any dog. Before placing a dog with an adoptor Critter Companion conducts a vet check to ensure proper health, gets the dog up to date on all shots and neuters the dog.
