Meet GIBBS 10 LBS CHORKIE
This is our boy that we call Grateful Gibbs and he is truly just that. He knows that he spent his first year of life in a rather chaotic and barely attentive backyard breeder environment. The woman finally admitted that she didn’t want to keep breeding and has allowed Critter Cavalry Rescue to take her leftovers that were never adopted as puppies. The woman had a baby and then had no time for the dogs she was supposed to be breeding and getting the puppies adopted. Nothing wrong with Grateful Gibbs except that he lived a good deal of the time with little attention and mostly in a large crate. Boy is he forever “grateful” to be out of that terrible house and being offered to a good family that Critter Cavalry Rescue has promised to find for him. He is just ONE YEAR OLD and only 10 pounds. He is shy at first because he has had such limited exposure to people other than the woman and her family at the breeder home. This boy call Gibbs, is not totally housebroken but a bellyband worn for a while will help in the learning process. Once he has time to learn a new house routine and a bathroom schedule is established, then he will be fine. Our boy is fully grown and will not be any bigger than 10 pounds. Young and needing love we are seeking someone that can give Gibbs what he has never had. Unconditional love and commitment. Please write to us at Critter Cavalry Rescue at [email protected] Gibbs slowly warms up to you, but once he does, it is on. This boy is your best friend. He is super duper smart, catches on quickly. Gibbs loves other dogs, gets along well with cats, and loves humans. Riding in a car is one of his favorite things and he is always out for an adventure. Gibbs is one years of age and with his breed and size, he has many years ahead. He is neutered, UTD on all vaccinations, HW negative, and healthy as can be. Gibbs uses the puppy pad, but foster mom is working on housebreaking. . But as smart as he is – he is quickly learning to go outside. PLEASE NOTE: Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.
