Meet Mimi (NC)

Little Mimi is ready for her forever home! Mimi is a petite rat terrier mix and only weighs 9 lbs., easy to scoop up, and fits right in your lap. She is around 1 year old and has a lot of puppy energy and behavior.  While she has not been destructive in her foster home, she can be a little sneaky! She suddenly appears under your feet wherever you are, and loves to grab socks, dishtowels, and garden gloves. Mimi is learning to trade items she shouldn't have for her toys and bones.  However, she isn't always on the go, after she has burned off some energy she can be a super snuggler.  Mimi is crate-trained and sleeps quietly during the day and at night.  She is learning to walk on a leash but will still do the stop, drop, and roll at times. Her house-training skills are improving daily but she needs to be taken out frequently and encouraged to potty to stay on track. Mimi has been friendly to everyone she meets but it takes a little time for her to open up around men. She loves the other dogs in her foster home. Mimi is looking for a home that will be patient and dedicated to continuing her training. She would love a fenced yard and a playmate to do zoomies with.
