Meet Maggie: A Maltese Rescued from Neglect, Now in Need of a Loving Home Maggie is a sweet Maltese with a heartbreaking past. After her owner passed away, the son who inherited the home and Maggie showed up once, threw her outside, locked the door, and never came back. Maggie was left to fend for herself, but her resilience and the kindness of a loving neighbor led her to us at Rainbow Bridge Hospice Rescue. Despite the neglect she endured, Maggie's spirit remains unbroken. She is currently receiving the love and care she desperately needs. Maggie is up to date with her shots.   Adoption fee $300 Please complete an application at https://rainbowbridgerescue.org/applications/ We cannot respond to inquiries unless an application is completed.  Rescue located in the Raleigh, Durham NC area, we do not ship our dogs.    

Adoption Process
We require an application filled out with 3 references, vet references and or records on all dogs living in the home. We do a home visit and all persons must be present.
