Meet Clyde
Meet Clyde! He and his brother were found as strays and were at a local shelter. He is about 5 months old. Clyde came in a little shy and reserved. He spent the first few days clopping around and sniffing EVERYTHING. His confidence is growing daily an we are starting to see more of his personality. Clyde is a very sweet boy. While still playful and certainly a puppy, he remains calm in the chaos of two young skin brothers. He enjoys pets and wants to be a shadow to the big humans for most of the day. Clyde is a growing boy and willing to eat anything you might already be eating. We have been crate training him during family meal times to reduce the influence of puppy dog eyes and bad table manners. He still enjoys his extra treats as we practice "Sit", "down", "come", and "heel" position. Clyde is mastering potty training and seems to enjoy crate time - he will even put himself to bed for afternoon naps and bedtime. Clyde is ever so helpful. He will bring you toys, shoes, books, even cups (sometimes they are still filled). So we are still learning boundaries and what is and what is not a toy. He is very playful and everyone should be his friend. Clyde is good with cats and keeps trying to engage them in play -- he even will seek out their tiny cat toys to entice them. He likes to play with kids too, but is learning they are not other puppies. We have been grateful for dry days to get outside so he can exercise. He is very good on a leash for being a recent stray. He does have some dog "awarenenss" on the leash and more of a tendency to pull on the way home but we are working on it. Clyde in being fostered in The Raleigh NC area. He will require a fenced yard and giant breed experience. If interested in Troy you can email us at [email protected] for an application!
