Meet Clifford

Clifford is a beautiful 12 week old male Great Dane puppy. If you are in the market for a dane puppy who is calm, loving, snuggly, crazy cute, stoic and quiet, well Clifford is all of those things, at times! The other times he is a rampaging roly poly, (who can't seem to get his feet to do what he wants) back talking, ball of continuous motion. Clifford is a big eared, stunning black and white puppy! He loves to play and run around the house irritating the larger dogs. He doesn't like to go outside in the cold weather and will sit on the heat vent when he comes in. Clifford is crazy sweet and loves cuddles. Clifford is also a THIEF!! You walk into a room, your subconscious mind is triggered by some primal instinct, movement near your right foot. You look down just to see a black blur dart past your leg, grab a stuffed animal, sock, shoe, slipper, whatever is available and dart backwards like a lion grabbing a deer and dragging it into the bushes. You quickly chase the Veloci-puppy across the house when you heroically grab it and pry the unsuspecting victim out of its jaws. You deliver a stern “NO” with a pointed finger. And it should be over, right? No! Clifford starts back talking you worse than any teenager. Eventually you smile at how cute it is and you relax. Big mistake! Clifford sees an opening and strikes, grabbing the victim from your hand and takes off to the other end of the house. Realizing you have been duped you start the chase anew. Bathrooms are the favorite hunt ground of the Clifford raptor. You innocently open the bathroom door and lean in to grab something. Immediately you hear a high speed rattle. You panic and turn on the light to look around. All u see is the toilet paper roll spinning at 120 MPH. You notice a line of Toilet paper running past your leg and into the living room. There you find the Cliffordasaurs wrapped from head to toe in TP. This continues for an hour. But you have a secret weapon. You wait until the time is right and then you break out the Napping blanket and the sleep time stuffie. You walk to the couch and sit down. Clifford immediately runs away as fast as his little chubby belly can go but he knows he can't out run nap time snuggles. Suddenly Clifford returns at warp speed. He tries to jump on the couch but his back end doesn't make it. His front feet are on the couch and he looks up at you asking for help. You help his back end up and he immediately crawls on your lap with his blanket and stuffie. After a few moments he starts whining and looks up at you asking for something. You slowly place your hand near his head. He starts to chew on a finger. Not hard. Very softly and in seconds he is asleep, on your lap with his nap time stuffie and blanket while holding your finger with his front teeth. This is an example of a day in the life of Clifford’s full time wait staff. A dangerously cute puppy with speckled toes. Adoption Process
Application,vet check,personal reference check,phone interview and home visit. Required to sign a contract that we can check on animal at anytime,the animal has to be returned to us if they can no longer keep them and they must live indoors as a family member. Fence is required but exceptions are made on a case by case basis.
