Meet Clara

Clara is a four-year-old Labrador Retriever mix – with what we are not sure! Clara weighs around 60 pounds, but could stand to gain about another 5 pounds. She is fully vetted and ready to go to her new home. Clara is doing great in her foster home with other dogs of all ages and sizes. Clara is house trained, but not a fan of the crate and will make some noise for a few minutes before she settles.  Clara is a very laid back kind of girl and would like nothing more than to cuddle with you on the couch and have a quiet evening with you! Clara has not been tested around cats so we are not sure how she would handle them. Clara’s foster home doesn’t have young children. She has met new people with no issues. If you are interested in adopting Clara, please submit an inquiry directly with Greater Charlotte SPCA by visiting charlottespca.org/adopt. ***Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family is responsible for coming to Charlotte to complete a meet and greet. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to meet/pick up the pet as soon as they are approved to adopt.***
