She's a sensitive girl who finds solace in her comfort zone, so she's looking for a patient and experienced adopter who understands her need to go at her own pace. Building trust with Daphne is a journey, but it's one worth taking. She'll need a committed adopter who's willing to visit her several times at the shelter, allowing her to get to know you slowly. Once Daphne feels secure, her true colors shine. She greets her trusted people with a wagging tail, joyful energy, and plenty of affectionate kisses. Daphne has been making doggy friends at the shelter and enjoys playtime with canine companions who are calm and respectful of her boundaries. Adoption Process
$60 - $125 adoption fee Applicants are asked to fill out a questioner so that we know about their home/lifestyle. Depending on the circumstances, we may do a home visit or check veterinary references. We do require verification from landlords if an applicant rents. Applicants are required to sign an adoption contract agreeing to obey animal ordinances, provide proper exercise and care as well as veterinary care.
