Black Tie Boston Rescue, Inc

The primary mission of the BTBR is to rescue Boston Terriers, as well as small Boston Terrier mixes where resources permit, from situations of abuse or neglect or from other situation that leave the dogs without an owner, such as from owners who surrender their pets or from animal shelters and other animal welfare organizations. That is our official mission statement. In simple terms, this is a warm, loving group of volunteers that saves Boston Terriers for the love of the breed and the desire to stop the neglected, injured, or abandoned dogs from suffering.

Meet Bandit

We're thrilled to welcome Bandit to rescue. He is a great little, goodnatured guy! His foster mom describes him as 'awesome' and 'that perfect age where he has the energy to play, but then is content to relax in the house." He is very affectionate and enjoys being a lap dog (or at least a right beside you dog). He is a fanatic for fetch! It took him a bit to warm up to his foster siblings, but now is always game for fetch with the pack. His Kong is his favorite toy. He's quite a guard dog and will let you know about any suspicious activity until he's sure all is well. Bandit is crate trained, but is hoping for a forever family to share a bed with! Bandit is neutered, up-to-date on vaccines and microchipped. We accept applications from NC, SC, VA and GA. The adoption fee is $200 and we also require a $20 application fee. Can't adopt? Bandit picked out a few items from Amazon that he would love to call his own! Check them out here -  http://amzn.com/w/284QLXERU38JF

Adoption Process
We have a set of adoption criteria (such as dogs are inside dogs only, one must be 21 or older to adopt, dogs must never be chained or shocked). We have applicants fill out an adoption application and submit to a veterinary reference check and home visit before adoption. When all steps are completed in this process, they sign an adoption contract and pay the appropriate fees. Fees vary by age of the dog but are all listed on our Petfinder page.
