Apple Pie is a beautiful Catahoula mix who joined us through a wonderful shelter exchange program! This initiative helps long-stay pups like her find their forever homes by partnering with another animal shelter. Weâre genuinely surprised that this beautiful girl was overlooked before, and we canât help but think that the shelter environment just doesnât showcase her amazing personality. Apple Pie came to her previous shelter as a stray, so her history remains a mystery. However, during her time here, she revealed herself as a fun-loving gal who delights in playing with other dogs during our playgroups! While she might be a touch shy at first with new people, she blossoms into a loving cuddle bug in calm and quiet moments. Sheâs on a journey of growth, learning leash manners and basic commands. Come visit this cheerful girl at the shelter! She might just be the missing piece to complete your family. Her fee is waived!
