Meet Clem, a big, wrinkly, lovable pup who found his way to the shelter as a stray. If you're looking for a tough bully dog, Clem is definitely NOT your guy; he's just a big baby at heart. You can see in the pictures below that he wears his emotions on his sleeve. After his neutering today, he expressed his dismay by telling us all about it through a series of soft whimpers, and it was clear that he needed some extra affection and reassurance. True to his gentle nature, he rolled over for belly rubs, revealing his deep desire for love and connection with his human companions. While at the shelter, Clem was introduced to another dog while on a leash. He wagged his tail but wasn't really interested in interacting with them; instead, he just wanted attention from the humans around him. Often, he would seek reassurance from them, showing that his main focus is on forming bonds with people. Clem is working on his leash skills, and with a bit of time and patience, he will flourish under the right guidance. If you're searching for a sweet companion who's ready to share lots of snuggles, Clem is waiting for you. Come meet him at the shelter and feel the tender spirit of this wonderful dog! Before adopting, we always recommend meet and greets with other dogs and children living in the same household to ensure it's a good fit.
