Meet Alexei

Alexei – "Small paws, big dreams, and a heart of gold!" Meet Alexei, the two month old, 15 pound little prince of the litter! Though he may be the youngest, he has a spirit that is absolutely royal. Alexei has taken well to crate training, finding comfort in his own little palace, and he’s already mastering commands like “sit” and “stay,” showing a natural eagerness to learn. Potty training is progressing beautifully, as he’s determined to make his future family proud. His playful energy shines through in everything he does—whether he’s chasing after his beloved squeaky ball, exploring the backyard, or attempting to “help” with household chores. Alexei is friendly with everyone he meets, be it other dogs, the family cat, or kids, with whom he’s extra gentle and affectionate. His favorite moments are snuggling up close after a fun day, basking in attention and belly rubs. Alexei is ready to light up his new home with endless love and loyalty, bringing joy to every corner of your life. Adoption Process
All applicants must pass a vet check, phone interview and home visit in order to adopt. Once an applicant passes, they must sign an adoption contract where they agree to alter the dog by 6 months of age - if they are adopting a puppy, guarantee that the dog will receive proper vet care, food, water and exercise, and will return the dog to the rescue if they can no longer keep the dog for any reason. All dogs are microchipped prior to adoption, with Freedom GSR always remaining on the chip. The adoption fee is $250, adopters receive a 2 week trial period with the dog and if the adopter is found to be in violation of the contract, Freedom GSR will reclaim the dog. All dogs will not be adopted out until they are up to date on shots, free of heartworms and intestinal parasites and altered, if six months of age or older. If a puppy is adopted, the adoption contract stipulates that the puppy must be altered by the time s/he turns 6 months old.
