Arise Animal Rescue

We are a foster-based rescue with a mission to save cats and dogs from the local high-kill animal shelters and promote their health and well-being by updating vaccines, ensuring animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped and having local adoption events at least once a week to give our rescues a 2nd chance at finding a forever home.

Meet Coconut

My adoption fee is $250 which covers my annual distemper booster, rabies, and being spayed/neutered and microchipped. Here’s what my foster mom has to say about me: She is a very energetic & playful little girl. Weighing in at about 25 pounds, she will insist on giving kisses and being in your lap and personal space. She loves dogs and wants to play with them all the time. She hasn’t learned personal space with them quite yet, BUT she does take good correction from the other dogs when they’re not in the mood to play. She is interested in the cat but just smelling and trying to give kisses. Would probably chase if the cats runs but most likely not aggressively. She is learning to potty outside but still has accidents inside. She is very food motivated. A slow feed bowl or food scattering is recommended. She also likes to eat out of other’s bowls.  She is learning some commands like wait, off, inside, outside, potty & poop. She’s also learning to go in her crate on command but sometimes doesn’t mind having a handful of kibbles for motivation. She would do best in a home with another fur brother or sister. She loves to run and explore new areas.
