Meet Hannah

Hannah is a 8 lb Yorkie and approximately1yr old. She is very sweet and attentive but 100% puppy and puts everything in her mouth. Hannah is friendly and outgoing when she's on daily walks, which she enjoys. Hannah’s new home must have another small dog, 15 pounds or less, who can manage Hannah's excited puppy play. She is ok with dog-friendly cats. Hannah is young and quick, so she is best suited for an adopter who is the same; she is not a good fit for anyone who can’t maneuver easily with a dog that gets underfoot and is a tripping hazard. She's doing well with leash walking and house training. Her adopter will need to be ready to work with a puppy and give her constructive stimulus and frequent outings to potty. Hannah is a darling little girl and will be a delight in the right home.   The adoption range for this dog is limited to NC, SC and VA. WE REQUIRE AN ALL ADULT HOME (NO YOUNG CHILDREN) WITH A SECURELY FENCED YARD FOR HANNAH'S ADOPTIVE HOME AND ONE WITH ANOTHER tiny young dog to play with her. The other dog in the home, cannot be over 15 lbs.  The secure fence must be 4ft or higher, attached to the home with gaps no larger than 1 1/2 inches.  An invisible fence, enclosed patio or terrace, temporary fencing, dog pens or dog lots or community shared fencing (dog park) are NOT considered secure fencing. No exceptions.   There is an application process and adoption fee. We are an all-volunteer organization, and in addition to saving dogs, we have other responsibilities, so we appreciate your patience and understanding during this process. Response time can take up to 5 business. Please inquire only if you are willing to come to Greensboro, North Carolina to meet the dog after we schedule your home visit. We do not ship dogs or put them on transports. Veterinary Care: All Hart-2-Heart Rescue foster dogs are spayed/neutered, current on heartworm prevention, parvo/distemper, bordetella, and rabies vaccines and are professionally groomed. As needed, our foster dogs have teeth cleanings, extractions, bloodwork and other diagnostic testing. Adoption Fee: $500
