Meet Sherman

Meet Sherman! Sherman is a schnauzer mix who came to our center when his owner went into a nursing home in Puerto Rico. He hasn’t had much socialization or human interaction until this past week when he’s been in a foster home in Virginia Beach. He really enjoys being with other dogs, especially balanced, confident dogs that help him feel more secure.  Sherman is learning how to trust people and will require patience on his journey. He has a lot of love to give the right family and has never shown any aggressive behavior. Sherman is around a year old, 22 pounds and neutered. He is housebroken and working on crate training. If you feel Sherman could be a great addition to your family, please submit an application. 

Adoption Process
Potential adopters/fosters will complete an application, have an interview with one of our volunteers, once approved, they can schedule meet and greets with our available dogs. All adoptions are trial at first, once finalized a contract will be signed. We require spay or neuter of all animals. Most adoptions are $395.
