Dog Day Out, 7/17/24:Shiloh went to PetSmart to get a new bone, got a âpup cupâ from Starbucks, walked the Cates Farm Trail in Mebane, went for a ride in a golf cart and enjoyed the AC at home. Very snuggly and gentle dog, wanted to be with my daughter wherever she was. Not reactive at all to other dogs at PetSmart. Knows sit, went potty outside. Very sweet and loves his tennis ball! Shiloh was the perfect pup: very well-behaved, gentle with treats and content to lay on the couch and snuggle with you. Only went potty outside and knows âsitâ. He loves car rides, had no trouble going up and down stairs. We have cats, but did not get to see any interaction as they stayed hidden. He didnât bother their food bowls or litter boxes.Foster notes, 2/27/24:Shiloh loves to please! Heâs a snuggly sweetheart with high energy. He would do best in a home with a backyard. He is treat motivated and when he has enough time to play & run outside, heâs a very good boy who will settle down to calmly chew a bone. Shiloh is:- Great at riding in cars - Knows Sit - Housetrained - Can quietly sleep in his crate overnight for 8 hrs (after a very small amount of whining) - Timid around doors & going downstairs- Very respectful to other dogs & people on walks (even if other dogs are barking & hyper!) - Shiloh likes to jump up & âhugâ his people- Very quiet, only barking rarely for communication purposes. Shiloh is VERY kind to everyone he approaches. Unfortunately, if men directly approach him first, he can respond with fear & aggression. Shiloh needs good, safe experiences with men to resolve his fear based aggression. He gives a warning bark when heâs upset.
