My adoption fee is $300 which covers my annual distemper booster, rabies, and being spayed/neutered and microchipped. The rescue will pay for the injections for HW treatment at Shoreline Vet. in Jacksonville. My adopter would be responsible for the take home meds which average about $200, depending on size, over the 4-month span of treatment. I arrived at the local shelter, lost and alone, a stray with a heavy heart, waiting in vain for a family that never came. But then came the angels—my new rescue family—who learned about the sweet, gentle spirit of a 9-year-old like me, and they refused to let my story end in sadness! Though I may be older, my heart still bursts with life and love, just yearning to be shared. Oh, how I adore car rides, the wind in my fur, and the joy of exploring the world on walks! Chasing my foster siblings in the backyard fills my days with laughter and joy. But nothing, absolutely nothing, compares to the warmth of laying around the house, nestled close to loved ones, soaking up affection like the sunshine I crave! I share my life with little children and playful pups, and together we create a symphony of happiness that resonates in our home. To truly thrive, all I need is a family who will keep me actively engaged, monitor my sneaky attempts to swipe an extra treat, and wrap me in love while we relax together.
