Black Tie Boston Rescue, Inc

The primary mission of the BTBR is to rescue Boston Terriers, as well as small Boston Terrier mixes where resources permit, from situations of abuse or neglect or from other situation that leave the dogs without an owner, such as from owners who surrender their pets or from animal shelters and other animal welfare organizations. That is our official mission statement. In simple terms, this is a warm, loving group of volunteers that saves Boston Terriers for the love of the breed and the desire to stop the neglected, injured, or abandoned dogs from suffering.

Meet Maggie & Minnie

Maggie and Minnie are a beautifully bonded mom-and-daughter duo who share a heartwarming connection. Momma Maggie is 4 years old and her girl Minnie is 2. They are incredibly affectionate and love nothing more than being around their humans. Their playful and active nature would make them a perfect match for an energetic family—whether with kids, other furry companions, or just adults ready to engage with them. They’re smart and curious, with a touch of mischief when they get bored, so keeping them entertained is key. Both are gentle when taking treats, but they’re still learning some manners. Right now, they pull on the leash during walks, and are working on learning “down” since they can’t resist checking out what’s on the kitchen counters.   The daughter is a bit shy and sensitive to loud noises. However, as they’ve settled into their foster home, they’ve begun to show their true, joyful personalities—running around the house like playful goofballs and keeping each other entertained. These two are not only adorable but also incredibly sweet and loving. They deserve a family who will cherish their special bond and help them continue to blossom. They are located in Cary, NC. Adoption Process
We have a set of adoption criteria (such as dogs are inside dogs only, one must be 21 or older to adopt, dogs must never be chained or shocked). We have applicants fill out an adoption application and submit to a veterinary reference check and home visit before adoption. When all steps are completed in this process, they sign an adoption contract and pay the appropriate fees. Fees vary by age of the dog but are all listed on our Petfinder page.
