You can see more beautiful dogs by visiting our Adoptable Dogs page. Mayflower is the sweetest, most gentle young girl! This gal was surrendered into rescue and has since flourished in her foster home. Playing with foster siblings? Check. Walking on a leash? Check. Car rides? Check. Stairs? Check. Bath and blow dry? Not the biggest fan but understands sometimes we need to tolerate some grooming in order to look gorgeous :) Although Mayflower spent most of her previous life on a farm, she has adapted exceptionally well to being pampered as a well-mannered house pet. She LOVES people and would do great with another male doggie companion. Of course, there are still a lot of things for her to learn and get used to, but this pretty girl has tons of pawtential and is eager to please. These days, Mayflower is like a sponge, soaking up all the new experiences and training in preparation to be the most pyrfect girl for her furever people. This beautiful, sweet, gentle girl will be an excellent addition for a family who has the patience and time to continue guiding her, as she learns to navigate the world living with people who will love and cherish her for years to come. In return, Mayflower will shower you with kisses, cuddles and an endless amount of love. Will you give this gorgeous pup the gift of a furever home this holiday season? NYS Registered Rescue # RR102 Our goal is to assess every application on its own merits. Key considerations are: 1) the experience of the applicant with large breed dogs 2) children in the household or regularly visiting the household are ready for a large-breed dog who is a guardian by nature and 3) the sex of other dogs currently residing in the household to avoid same-sex aggression issues. For puppies under six months old, the applicant’s ability to socialize the puppy with older dogs is a priority. We may consider fostering for some of our dogs who are in boarding.
